Woodpecker Second-hand Shop
Established in 2008, this store promotes the reuse of second-hand goods within the local community. The shop helps reduce waste and repurposes items that are still useful, contributing to environmental sustainability. Profits from the shop support local
employment initiatives, particularly for youth and women, by providing job opportunities

Pizza Mobile Truck
The Pizza Mobile Truck brings delicious wood-fired pizzas to schools, communities, and local events. This mobile service promotes local cuisine while engaging with children and families across Hualien. It has become a popular attraction and spreads joy and love through its freshly baked pizzas.

Woodpecker's CASA
Founded in 2012, Woodpecker's CASA is a restaurant that evolved from the Pizza Mobile Truck initiative. Located in the heart of the community, CASA provides a cozy space for families and youth to come together and enjoy delicious meals. In addition to serving Italian-inspired dishes, CASA also hosts cultural and culinary events, including DIY workshops and cooking lessons, making it a hub for community bonding.

Woodpecker's Garden
Founded in 2011, Woodpecker's Garden specializes in cultivating organic vegetables and bread baking. The garden operates as a farm-to-table service, where crops grown locally are used in Woodpecker’s restaurant operations. It offers employment and vocational training to local residents, especially those interested in agriculture and baking. The garden promotes a model of sustainable living, emphasizing the connection between people and nature.
